About Relectricals
Welcome to Northwest Electronics Recycling (NWERC). Based in the heart of Liverpool we started business in 1996 and have grown to become one of the UK’s leading electronics recycling and disposal businesses.
Waste, electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is the fasting growing element in the municipal waste stream and strict Government targets are in place for both recycling of components and the safe disposal of redundant parts. We provide a hassle free solution for individuals, organisations and companies who have unwanted white goods, TV’s and IT equipment.
Using top of the range equipment we handle over 20,000 units of electronic goods per month with many items refurbished by our team for re-sale. Where possible components are retrieved for sale as spare parts, whilst many materials are recovered – such as glass, copper, aluminium and plastic - and used by our corporate customers to help them comply with WEEE regulations.
We have recently launched North West Textiles to handle and recycle old clothes, curtains and bedding etc.

We are pleased to announce that “The Rag and Bone Shops” will be expanding and opening several shops over the coming months!!!
Recycling plant in Ghana
We are pleased to announce our plans to open an electronic recycling centre in Ghana in the next few months.
We have been looking at expanding our recycling company to Africa for some time and we had plans to open our first centre in Nigeria. After some thought we opted for Ghana instead as the economy is more suited to this type of set up. The electricity is more guaranteed in Ghana compared to Nigeria and this was also a factor!!
We look forward to employing local people into the trade of recycling and re-use and getting them up to the high standards we have here in the U.K.
We will keep the site updated on our progress on our exciting new venture!!!
