Why Recycle?

Recycling saves energy, helps reduce pollution, conserves natural resources, reduces the need for landfill and saves money. These days there is no excuse not to recycle. The cost of dealing with rubbish is rising steeply, so the more we recycle, the more we will actually save.

Here at the Northwest Electronics Recycling Centre, Liverpool we offer waste recycling solutions to local people and businesses across the Northwest. From the repair of TVs, fridges and irons to the overhaul of IT equipment we refurbish a wide range of electronic goods for sale at affordable prices to the general public. And if we can’t fix it, we will dispose of your electronic items in a safe and environmentally sound manner in accordance with WEEE regulations.

Your part…

We make it easy for you to recycle your old electronics and help the community in the process. Many electrical and electronic items that are gathering dust at home could be easily repaired and resold – rather than simply thrown away. By using our complete service of collection and disposal we make recycling as pain free as possible.  Your part is to simply make the call or fill in our online booking form.

Our promise…

As one of the UK’s leading electronic recycling companies we try to operate in the most environmentally efficient manner possible. We are currently the only Authorised Treatment Facility in Liverpool, using highly advanced CRT testing equipment. Through a dry cleaning process this ensures that any emissions associated with recycling are kept to a minimum.

Being a waste management and disposal company, we are bound to operate within the parameters of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 via the ‘Waste Duty of Care’ to ensure waste is handled safely and within the letter of the law. We are a registered waste carrier and hold waste management and AATF licenses.

How do we do it?

White goods and TV recycling

NWERC has fully qualified personnel on hand round the clock to handle unwanted electronic goods. Wherever possible we repair and refurbish electronic goods for sale to the local community at affordable prices. However, we also break down old electronics into smaller components and parts – in accordance with WEEE regulations – and make them available to the original manufacturers where it is reintegrated into the industry.

Recycling plant in Ghana

We are pleased to announce our plans to open an electronic recycling centre in Ghana in the next few months.
We have been looking at expanding our recycling company to Africa for some time and we had plans to open our first centre in Nigeria. After some thought we opted for Ghana instead as the economy is more suited to this type of set up. The electricity is more guaranteed in Ghana compared to Nigeria and this was also a factor!!
We look forward to employing local people into the trade of recycling and re-use and getting them up to the high standards we have here in the U.K.
We will keep the site updated on our progress on our exciting new venture!!!
